Trans-Pacific Ocean Rates

Peak season is now upon us, and ocean container market conditions have continued to deteriorate. The OEC Group is maintaining its focus on securing as much space as possible for our customers and providing regular information and updates.

Effective July 1, 2021, Trans-Pacific Ocean rates will be increased due to escalating costs for service, worsening port conditions and strengthening demand. Several origin ports are still recovering from limited Covid-19 related restrictions and backlogs of cargo exist throughout Asia.

We are doing all possible to provide the most economical shipping options and to communicate with our customers the requirements to obtain vessel space.
