General Rate Increase

Ocean container market conditions have continued to worsen as we approach peak season. The OEC Group is continuing its priority of securing space for our customers and providing visibility into very difficult circumstances that have continued to deteriorate.

Effective June 15, 2021, your trans-pacific ocean rates will be adjusted to include a GRI in accordance with the increased costs for service and worsening port conditions in Asia. As you may be aware, several ports have experienced outbreaks of Covid-19, thereby causing shutdowns, reduced hours and limited capacity for vessel loading.

We are doing all possible to provide the most economical shipping options and to communicate with our customers the requirements to obtain vessel space.
