Quebec Spring Thaw 2021

Spring thaw in Quebec has now begun in Zones 1 and 2 as of today. The authorized load limits will be reduced during the thaw period on all public roads, and impacts all containers, both import and export, moving through the province of Quebec.

Here are the official dates for 2021 as per the Ministère des Transports.

Zone 1
From Monday, March 22nd (00:01) to Friday, May 21st (23:59)

Zone 2
From Monday, March 22nd (00:01) to Friday, May 21st (23:59)

Predicted starting dates for 2021

Zone 3
From Monday, March 29th (00:01) to Friday, May 28th (23:59)

For any cargo exceeding the below weight limits, will be subject to overweight surcharge.
