    New York JFK Launches Free Virtual Queuing Program At Terminal 4

    New York JFK Airport has introduced a free virtual queuing program at Terminal 4 – JFK T4 Reserve powered by CLEAR. The new queuing program allows travelers at JFK Terminal 4 to reserve a dedicated security lane time slot up to 72 hours in advance of their flight between the hours of 05:00 and 10:00.     Cathay Pacific increases freighter capacity as HK air cargo bounces back

    US Department of Transportation appoints new port and supply chain envoy to work on supply chain disruptions

    The White House and the US Department of Transportation announced on May 27 that retired general Stephen Lyons, former commander of the US Transportation Command, will be the new Port and Supply Chain Envoy to the Biden-Harris Administration Supply Chain Disruptions Task Force. Lyons will take over the role from John Porcari. Read more here.

    Investments at Port Saint John to increase capacity by 146%

    New Brunswick’s Port Saint John on Canada’s Atlantic coast has announced new project funding from the federal and provincial governments that will enable it to increase cargo capacity by 146% between 2023 and 2029.
    The provincial government will invest C$16.8m, the federal government $21m and Port Saint John $4.2m in enhancements that will increase the cargo laydown capacity of the west-side terminal, boost crane capabilities, and add roll-on/roll-off capabilities for wheeled cargo. Read more here.
