    Most Air France unions cancel planned June strikes

    Most Air France unions have called off strikes planned for June 23-26 in the latest twist in a months-long conflict with staff over pay that has so far led to 15 strike days, the resignation of the former Air France-KLM group CEO and a financial cost of around €400 million ($462 million).Read more here.

    On March 16 2017, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) inked a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with Maersk and MSC’s 2M alliance.  Under the agreement, HMM increased its Basic Slot Allocation (BSA), primarily on the US West Coast services and gained some financial stability due to alliance-related volumes.     TAPA publishes truck security standards for industry review

    The Transported Asset Protection Association’s (TAPA) has published all three levels of its Parking Security Requirements (PSR) certification programme for industry review.
    The organisation, which aims to reduce the number of crimes related to trucks, said it is on course to launch the higher levels one and two of its Parking Security Requirements (PSRs) later this year, following the latest stage of consultation with its manufacturer and logistics service provider members, who have been asked to review the standards to confirm they are fit for purpose.
