    Air France flights disrupted by second day of strikes

    Air France is expecting further delays today due to ongoing strike action by several unions.  The airline said that pilot, cabin and ground crew were going ahead with a second day of strike action following yesterday’s stoppages. Read more here.

    The delivery of China’s Cosco Shipping 20,000 TEU newbuilding Cosco Shiping Leo has been delayed after the vessel collided wiht a general cargo vessel on March 29.  Read more here.

    DENMARK’s Maersk Line has invested US$280 million to acquire six second-hand containerships from German Commerzbank, according to Intermodal Research and Valuations. The vessels were already being chartered by the Danish shipping giant.
